Michal Renée is the Founder & Executive Director of Her Promise Circle Foundation, author, speaker, and host of The Her Promise Circle Podcast, a Top 3% globally ranked show with 175K+ downloads and streams across 133 countries.

For the past decade, Michal has worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in emergency and critical care. Her clinical experience, her own mental-health crises and family loss, and the health disparities she witnessed and experienced shaped the perspective she began sharing publicly through her podcast.

That audience eventually became the community behind Her Promise Circle, which grew over four years from virtual spiritual support and Bible study into a hybrid nonprofit delivering holistic, nonclinical wellness programming. Within the first six months of expanded programming, Michal and her team supported 231+ women.

She is an active member of the Live Healthy DeKalb Health Equity Action Team, DeKalb Health & Housing Coalition, and DeKalb Alliance for Human Services, and was selected as a 2026 Pay It Forward Moxie Award Finalist.

For the past decade, Michal has worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in emergency and critical care, caring for patients during some of the most serious moments of their lives. Her years in healthcare, together with her own experiences surviving mental-health crises, navigating faith, and living through profound family loss, shaped the perspective she would eventually bring beyond the bedside.

Through The Her Promise Circle Podcast, Michal began sharing candid conversations about health, faith, mental wellbeing, relationships, loss, and real life. The women who connected with those conversations became a virtual community centered first around connection, Bible study, and spiritual support.

Over four years, that community evolved into Her Promise Circle Foundation, a hybrid, prevention-focused nonprofit with an in-person presence in DeKalb County, digital access through its app, and holistic programming supporting people outside traditional care settings.

Within the first six months of expanded programming, Michal and her team supported 231+ women. Women remain central to HPC’s work, while its approach is now being adapted through partnerships for youth and adolescents, co-ed groups, and seniors.

A case study following an active HPC participant was presented through Project ECHO via Constellation Quality Health Group alongside Piedmont Women’s Heart Health Group, highlighting holistic heart-failure management strategies in Georgia.

Michal is also an active member of the Live Healthy DeKalb Health Equity Action Team, DeKalb Health & Housing Coalition, and DeKalb Alliance for Human Services, contributing alongside healthcare, nonprofit, public-health, and community leaders working to improve health outcomes across DeKalb County and Metro Atlanta.

In 2026, she was selected as a Pay It Forward Moxie Award Finalist in recognition of her impact and community dedication.
